INES CATARINA PINTO
My approach to research is guided by a few key principles that serve as a compass for my practice: intention and accuracy are non-negotiable; to understand the user is to understand their context; tools bring efficiency, but critical thinking ensures rigor; Bite-sized research summaries are information radiators; Simple but accurate experiments move research forward; good research leads to good products.
Currently working at Emergn.
I was born the same year as the World Wide Web—1989—so digital technology and I basically grew up together.
I have over five years of research experience and a Master's degree in Communication Sciences specializing in Human-Computer Interaction. I use both quantitative and qualitative methods to conduct research studies that help companies understand what users really need, so they can create unique, evidence-based designs for intuitive digital experiences.
